(Aurora, IL.) - Waubonsee Community College's Women's Tennis squad dropped their Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match to the College of Lake County. The Chiefs (1-2) fell to the Lancers 6-1 at the Washington Park tennis complex on Aurora's far west side. The Lancers swept all five singles matches that were played and took the number one doubles match as well. Waubonsee, under the direction of newly appointed head coach Jean Maren, avoided being shutout by winning the number two doubles match in dramatic fashion. The Chiefs duo of Courtney Farmer and Carly Keogh edged Lake County's Danielle Gatta and Melanie Garcia 9-8, winning the tie-breaker 9-7 to take the match.
