(Charlotte, NC.) -- Waubonsee Community College's Isabelle Harkleroad was named the NJCAA's Division II Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the first week of September.  The Geneva High School graduate turned back 11 shots on goal in a pair of shutout wins for the Chiefs. With the assistance of Waubonsee's defense Harkleroad recorded six saves in a 3-0 victory at Prairie State College on September 1. Three days later she registered five saves in a 10-0 rout of Wheaton College's Club Team.

So far this fall Waubonsee (4-0) has outscored its opponents 23-1 overall. The Chiefs are currently ranked second nationally in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Junior College poll, and fifth in the NJCAA's Division II rankings. Waubonsee is set to host the College of Lake County in an Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match later today, before traveling to Triton College this coming Saturday, September 11 beginning at noon.
