Waubonsee's Co-ed Competitive Cheer team will be holding open tryouts for new or existing Waubonsee students.The Chiefs are looking for both men and women, for all positions on the squad. Tumbling experience is preferred, and a current sports physical is required at tryout time.

Each tryout sessions starts at 4:00 p.m. in the Athletic Field House on the Sugar Grove campus. You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in at least 9 credit hours at Waubonsee for the 2025-2026 school year to be eligibile to participate. Waubonsee's Cheer team annually competes in several competitions, including last year at the NCA Nationals in Daytona, Florida. The Chiefs' Cheer squad also takes part in several local community events throughout the year representing Waubonsee.
