Liston Fahie begins his sixth year as head coach after serving as a Volunteer Assistant to long-time Waubonsee coach John Bell in 2012. Born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and raised in the British Virgin Islands, Fahie started playing tennis at the age of nine. He competed in the British Virgin Islands through the age of 16 before matriculating to Delaware State University to begin his collegiate career. Fahie played number three singles and number two doubles for the Hornets, members of the Mid-Atlantic Eastern Conference (MEAC). In 2005 he graduated from the Division I-AA institution with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking. Additionally, Fahie went on to earn his MBA in Finance in 2010 from Keller Graduate School. Off the courts Fahie has worked the last seven years as a Junior Vice-President in the investment banking sector.
