As a competitive gamer Ericksen was ranked in the top one percent of players for Heroes of the Storm (HOTS) and League of Legends (LOL), enabling him to play in the HGC Open, which was the qualifying league for the HOTS professional scene. Ericksen also played a couple of seasons in Super League Gaming’s (SLG) national competition City Champs, as a member of Chicago’s A level team. He also served as captain and coach of Chicago’s entry into the SLG Red Bull All-Stars tournament in Los Angeles, where he helped guide the team to second place out of 64 competing teams.

Ericksen coached soccer at various levels for seven years, and also gave lessons as a private goalie coach. He has been an Esports coach for six years working with on-line teams and giving one-on-one instruction as well. At N1 Esports he trains other coaches on how to appropriately and effectively work with the teens who participate in the program. Coach Ericksen also developed and implemented the League of Legends curriculum that is used at N1 Esports.
